Ways to use TrueKeep

01Getting Started

Before you start

Step 01

Make sure the portal is connected. TrueKeep reads the brand's design brief directly, so colors, fonts, logo rules, and voice guidance come from one source instead of getting re-typed into a prompt each time.

Step 02

You have an ask: one or two sentences on what you need and who it's for. The portal supplies the brand. You supply the brief.

02Building Presentations

Building a presentation

Step 01

State the ask. Create a prompt of one or two sentences on what you need and who it's for. The more detail, the better the outcome.

Example:

Rule: “Build me a 6-slide deck introducing us to a fintech client.”

Step 02

TrueKeep will then pull your design rules and systems: color distribution, type scale, layout rules, voice, and the specific anti-patterns to avoid.

Example:

Rule: Kobe1.1 as the only typeface, headlines set in Regular 400, never bold.

Step 03

TrueKeep will design based on the specifications you provide.

Example:

Six slides might include:

  • Cover (with oversized wordmark)

  • Belief Statement (in Primary Dark with one line)

  • What We Do

  • Case Study

  • The Team

  • Contact Details

Step 04

Prompt a review and to check that the designs align with the brief. This flags specifics, not impressions.

Example:

Double check that slides are using:

  • Correct colors in the right ratios

  • Correct typeface and use of weights

  • Layout rules followed

03Building Graphics

Building a graphic

Step 01

State the ask. Create a prompt of one or two sentences on what you need and who it's for. The more detail, the better the outcome.

Example:

Prompt: “Make an Instagram graphic for our new case study.”

Step 02

TrueKeep pulls the design brief for a graphic. For a social graphic, the relevant rules include type treatment, layouts, etc.

Step 03

The graphic gets built to spec. One focal idea, one typeface, one accent moment. Nothing added just to fill space. TrueKeep will build the design, and then it's time to review and polish.
